Booking Process
Please choose your type of trip (Day or Summer Evening), then use the appropriate form to select your desired date, trip and number of passengers. The calendar shows availability in light blue (available) and red (unavailable).
The fee shown is for the entire boat hire, including crew and fuel — not per person — and remains the same for 2 to 12 passengers.
No payment is taken at this stage. Once you submit the form, we will get back to you by providing payment details, and discuss any special requirements you may have. We can then confirm your booking.
As we are a fully voluntary group, replies may take a few days. If your enquiry is urgent, please contact our Booking Secretary.
Booking Conditions
- During the special seasonal time periods for Halloween and the Festive December trips, where only these routes are available for those time periods..
- The boat can only be booked for your chosen day, or evening, trips. We do not hire the boat out over night or over multiple days.
- We supply an experienced, competent skipper trained to NCBA standards and two crew members.
- We supply all diesel and gas, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery.
- The boat is intended for the use of senior citizens, the handicapped, the disabled and youth groups, such as Scouts and guides but especially those from residential homes, day centres and support groups..

Summer evening trips are available May through to August. The Dimmingsdale, Lower Penn route is the only evening trip we offer, due to timings and available daylight. If you are looking for a day trip, with a choice of routes, please close this box and open the Day Trip one.
